Neonatal Intensive Care

The Paediatric Centre was specially created with a child’s heart and imagination in mind. Whether a child stays in a general, shared, or premium bed for a night or visits frequently for routine blood transfusions, the doctors and nurses at Mercy Hospital seek their smiles while attending to their health. Important services offered to children range from cleft lip or palate surgery to leukemia and thalassemia treatments. Additionally, child diabetes, obesity, and thyroid clinics are held regularly.

Physiotherapy is the treatment of any disease or deformity by therapeutic exercises and associated measures and has gained wide acceptance over the years. The Physiotherapy Centre offers comprehensive services in the areas of cardiac rehabilitation, neurology, orthopedics, post-transplant patients, and pain management using advanced equipment including ultrasound, laser, stimulators, IFT (Interferential Therapy), SWD (Short Wave Diathermy), and regular electrical traction.
Plastic surgery is a surgical specialty that reconstructs facial and body defects due to birth disorders, trauma, burns, and disease. Our surgeons regularly perform cleft lip, cleft palate, and facial reconstruction surgeries. Thanks to a partnership with Smile Train, many of the cleft lip and palate surgeries are provided free of charge to children of families with low incomes.
