CMC Vellore ties up with Kolkata Hospital

Christian Medical College (CMC), Vellore, has signed memorandum of understanding with the Mission of Mercy Hospital and Research Centre, Kolkata, to conduct a two-year distance education programme for the benefit of general practictioners.

CMC has selected 25 candidates from the East and north-eastern zones for the post graduate diploma in Family Medicine (PGDFM).  "We have selected candidates from Kolkata, Burdwan, Asansol, Jharkhand, Mizoram and Nagaland for the course," said Dr. A.K. Jana, Associate Director, CMC.

CMC has already initiated such courses in four centres in Delhi, Bangalore, Vellore and Oddanchatram in Madurai.  They also plan to start the course in five more cities.
